This page describes the Controllers Admin page showing controllers, devices, watches, tunnels and switches in Highlight. The Controllers tab will only be visible if it's been enabled on a parent folder.
Refer to the SD-WAN device setup page for details on how to configure your SD-WAN network to work best with Highlight.
Controllers page controls
At a folder level, all page controls are visible. At a location level, some options are not available.
Use to create a new controller in the current folder.
Search
Search on name, autodiscovered name, description and reference (watches only). The search icon turns bright blue to indicate a filter is applied. clears the search. A search can return a watch without showing its parent device or controller. Search results are not indented.
Disabled Controllers only
Available at a folder level, unchecked by default and shows items where the parent controller is disabled in Highlight. This also shows discontinued tunnels but not items which have "Collect data" and "Show data" unchecked.
Show in subfolders:
Shows items that are defined in folders below the current one with a path to the subfolder.

Show All
Shows watches of any status: Pending, Disabled, Enabled and Discontinued.
Pending
Placeholders for watches that could exist and are only visible in the Controllers admin page. These will not gather data so cannot change the colour of a heat tile nor send an alert. This gives a service provider control of the watches that are created on a watch by watch basis. Find out more about Controller watch pending.
Disabled
Watches have been created but “Collect data” and “Show data” are unchecked. Thus, these watches do not gather data so cannot change the colour of a heat tile nor send an alert. Watches are disabled when they are newly created as disabled, are not in use or represent recently decommissioned services. They can be enabled at a future date.
Enabled
Watches have been created and are gathering data. These can change the colour of a heat tile and send an alert if they have issues.
Discontinued
Watches that were previously created watches but are no longer available on the external network. These will be automatically deleted, usually after 30 days.
If some settings have changed from default, "Reset all controls" is enabled
For large estates, initially 200 items are shown. Click this button to show an additional 200 items. If the button is no longer visible, there are no more items to show. We recommend using Search to reduce the number of items shown.
